Below we have detailed four different techniques that can help you in determining what ring size you are:
- Measuring your fingers circumference
- Measuring the diameter of a ring you already have by printing out our chart
- Printing out a ring sizer
- Purchase one from our store here
- Wrap string or paper around the base of your finger.
- Mark the point where the ends meet with a pen.
- Measure the string or paper with a ruler (mm).
- Pick the closest measurement on the ring size chart to find your ring size.
2. Measure the diameter of a ring
- If you have a ring that already fits your finger well, you can use a ruler to measure the inside diameter of this ring:
- Take your ruler and measure straight across the inside of the ring from edge to edge.
- Take the diameter measurement in millimeters, and then use our measurement-conversion chart to find your ring size.
OR
- Print out our chart here.
- Then simply place your ring on the circles and find the circle that best matches the inside perimeter of your ring.
3. Print out our paper ring sizer
- When printing the guide, make sure your print scale is set to 100 percent.
- Make sure the “fit to page” box is left unchecked in order to get an accurate measurement from the printout.
- Then cut out the pre-measured strip of paper and use it to measure your finger.
Ring Sizing Tips:
- The ring should fit your finger comfortably: snug enough so it won't fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle with relative ease.
- Measure your ring size at the end of the day when your fingers are warm. Finger size changes depending on the time of day and the weather, and your fingers are smaller in the morning and on cold days.
- Your dominant hand is usually slightly bigger so therefore make sure to individually measure each finger
- We recommend you measure a few times for accuracy and also try using two methods to make sure each time you get the same size
